Labor Day Weekend Camping

A few years ago we started a tradition of camping every Labor Day weekend and this past weekend was no exception! We didn't travel far this time we just headed north about 15 minutes to a spot right in between Trestles and San Onofre that is part of the  Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base.

The campsite overlooked the ocean and was walking distance to both Churches and Old Mans surf breaks. Perfect camp spot for Labor Day weekend!

Heading out for a morning surf at Trestles

Enjoying an after surf breakfast with our awesome friends!

As often as we go camping we always seem to forget something! If you're like us here is an extremely helpful camping checklist. We just replace the winter clothing for beach wear for our purposes!
